What your weeks are going to look like
  • Acts as a consultant and collaborative leader with partners and the Business Development team, clarifying and anticipating partner needs and expectations, and validating the defined plan for overall project success;
  • Establishes, in collaboration with the producers, the production guidelines for each game under their responsibility and ensures follow-up;
  • Ensures excellent communication and business relations with the partners of the projects under their responsibility, in collaboration with the producers and associate producers, in order to secure additional mandates;
  • Validation of the quality and consistency of all game elements throughout the production process with the producer responsible for the project and the partner to ensure compliance with established standards;
  • Analyze project risks and propose solutions, in collaboration with the production team, to deal with possible delays, budget overruns, technical problems, etc., and follow up with their manager;
  • Mobilize, supervise, mentor and support team members throughout the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding and integration, talent management and development, performance management) by adopting a management style that promotes a quality employee experience;
  • Prepare and lead, in collaboration with producers and associate producers, monthly project review meetings related to current projects;
  • Establish, in collaboration with business managers, resource planning, deadlines and production costs for sales proposals to partners (pitch).
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, project management or other relevant and equivalent field related to video game development;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management in the video game industry or in a similar field;
  • Diversified experience on projects on different platforms, with at least two (2) games completed;
  • Very good knowledge of management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets or others;
  • PMP, CSM and/or PSM certification (asset);
  • Bilingualism (French/English) required;
  • Ability to travel outside the country as required.
