(Friday afternoons off);<\/li>\n<li>Truly flexible work arrangements:&#xa0; remote, hybrid, or in-office\u2014the choice is yours;<\/li>\n<li>Up to 7 weeks of vacation per year, sick days, and personal days: your well-being matters to us.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive group insurance coverage starting the day you join;<\/li>\n<li>A contribution to your RRSP;<\/li>\n<li>A $400 allowance for purchasing ergonomic equipment;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#xa0;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Life at the studio<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to chair massages, fresh fruit and snacks, a gym, sports activities, and more;<\/li>\n<li>Regular presentations on projects and new developments: we keep our team informed about what\u2019s happening at Frima;<\/li>\n<li>Close-knit, supportive, and inclusive teams\u2014even when working remotely!<\/li>\n<li>Come discover the rest for yourself!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Job Description<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What your weeks are going to look like<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine the most appropriate technical means to achieve the project\u2019s objectives, taking into account constraints (technical, budgetary, and time-related);<\/li>\n<li>Ensure smooth communication with other departments (design, art, production) to ensure optimal integration of the project\u2019s various components;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor schedules and deliverables in accordance with the initial technical plan and anticipate any necessary adjustments;<\/li>\n<li>Identify and propose solutions to technical issues that could impact production;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure code optimization and system performance to guarantee optimal fluidity and stability;<\/li>\n<li>Organize and lead regular meetings with the team to track progress, anticipate risks, and verify that deadlines are being met;<\/li>\n<li>Assist programmers in resolving technical issues and provide support when they encounter roadblocks;<\/li>\n<li>Motivate, guide, and support the direct team by providing coaching through continuous feedback;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of skills and internal talent in your area of expertise by rigorously monitoring performance and developing relevant training plans tailored to corporate needs and strategic directions;<\/li>\n<li>Build a relationship of trust with the partner and serve as the point of contact in your area of expertise;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in project reviews and post-mortems;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure partner satisfaction by maintaining transparency and rigorously tracking requests and necessary adjustments;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in discussions with other leads and Director to share best practices and technical innovations;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and optimize, in collaboration with your team, reusable tools and features to improve the efficiency of your project;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methods to optimize productivity and the quality of deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science or a related field, combined with experience deemed equivalent;<\/li>\n<li>At least five (5) years of experience in video game programming;<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a lead programmer or in a similar role;<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in C++ and optimization skills;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with the Unreal game engine is a significant asset;<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the various hardware and software layers involved in the execution of a video game;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in mobile game development (a significant asset);<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken).
