Introduction
Available exclusively on Apple Arcade, Temple Run: Legends is a runner game where players run, swim, and jump to earn 3-star ratings across hundreds of levels, experiencing different climates, inhabitants, and the occasional crocodile.
The assignment
Starting in 2023, Frima teamed up with Imangi to create an entirely new runner game for the legendary Temple Run franchise. This game is a cross-platform title exclusive to Apple Arcade and marks Frima’s first game on the subscription service.
Temple Run: Legends takes the iOS players into the world of Aperion, where they are be able to complete no fewer than 500 levels of story mode gameplay and also challenge themselves with Endless mode, so the fun will never stop! This project includes 10 different fearless and unique explorers who run tirelessly under the thumb or controller of any iOS player, with smooth and responsive swipes on the screen to provide the best experience in running gameplay.
Thanks to this partnership, Frima broadened its expertise in mobile game development, creating the new “just one more run” gameplay that keeps players coming back again and again!
